On a dark windy morning in early February, what can only be described as a behemoth bearing a container made its way down the narrow lane to the Water Sports Centre – all 40 foot of it!! The language was a bit lively (!!) but the “mission was accomplished”, even though there were doubts as to whether the lorry would ever get out again.
This marks the start of rowing at the Centre as we now have somewhere to store the skulls and equipment. We also now have 3 dry land rowing machines as well.
